Dry Ice Blasting
Dry Ice Blasting is safe and clean for many uses including manufacturing, automotive, food processing, restorations, and contract cleaning. This form of cleaning is well-suited for wineries and distilleries as well as oil rigs. Dry Ice Blasting is a safe and clean method, approved by the EPA, FDA and USDA. It effectively decontaminates Salmonella, E. Coli, and Listeria.
Dry Ice Blasting is the greener, earth-friendly way to clean. It does not create secondary waste or contribute to the greenhouse effect, and is environmentally responsible.
What is Dry Ice Blasting?
Dry ice blast cleaning uses solid CO2, a non-abrasive material that will not scratch surfaces or equipment. Dry ice pellets, the accelerator, are blasted at ultra-high speeds and sublimate on impact. The result: dirt and contaminants are lifted off the surface underneath.
Why is Dry Ice Blasting Better?
Dry Ice Blasting combines a unique forces to powerfully lift contaminants on surfaces without exacting damage or generating harmful byproducts. Similar to bead, soda, and sand blasting, dry ice blasting prepares and restores surfaces using pressurized air stream to accelerate a cleansing medium.
And another example of how dry ice blasting removes fire damage from a metal surface:
